Living in the UK

For US citizens and permanent residents, US tax filing requirements do not disappear as they cross the US border, either to the United Kingdom or to any other country. They need to be sufficiently aware of the UK tax system, its requirements and rules to know to be in compliance there, whilst continuing to maximize deductions and exemptions for their US Returns.
